After a long hiatus, Melys returned in style with the 2024 album release of ‘BBC Sessions Vol. 1 ’ and their first new studio album in nearly two decades,‘Second Wind’ (2025).
The band’s comeback has been met with critical acclaim, reaffirming their reputation for lush and emotional songwriting combined with their captivating, spiky and energetic live performances. Wonderful.

Space Octopus Cartel - ace art rock conceptualists with a fragile and yet forceful folky feel to the fore, and some decidedly prog leanings on their post punk tinged adventures in song. Superb stuff, what an amazing bill! .
